Located on the banks of the Llano River, the Llano County Historical Museum preserves the rich heritage of the Texas Hill Country.
The Llano County Historical Museum is housed in the former Bruhl Drugstore, a historic building constructed in 1922. Founded in the early 1960s by the Llano County Historical Society, the museum is dedicated to conserving and interpreting the region's past. Visitors are greeted by the original marble-top soda fountain and leather stools that remain from the building's days as a functioning pharmacy, setting the stage for a journey through local history.
